Sometimes I have no realization of the passing of time. This poor little bit still doesn't have a name. (Nanako would be cute, wouldn't it? ^^ But since it's not a name I really love, I'll keep thinking.) I'd like to think she's waiting for one now in a place where time stops.
What with all the standards going miniature, I was thinking again how I'd be pretty screwed if Volks busts out with Tokyo Boy yosds. Something tells me it's definitely something they'd consider. I'd like to think it's because they're running out of ideas for sculpts as there are so many Sweet Dreams and similar molds, but it's probably more for a sure sale.
Also, my girls are wearing me out a little, I'd like to post more of my boys soon.

| Soom and Volks in Japan |

It's been so long since I've been on here, been trying lately to rejoin the human race. Earlier this month I went to Japan for the February Appreciation Fair. I promised Alex photos of the doll stuff so here's the first edition. I was able to go to a few Volks stores and see the new Soom Japan store with the_fall_season. Here are some photos from the trips!

Special! Yesterday my cousin and his wife had a baby girl, whom they've named Emily Aynoor. Aynoor is after our late grandmother, and means 'moonlight'. During a name pow-wow many weeks ago, we all suggested names for the baby, and just as I was going to suggest Emily as one of my favorite girl names, my aunt (and now grandmother of Emily) beat me to it saying, "I really like the name Emily."
Funny how she ended up with that name, I don't think it's a coincidence my aunt and I both thought of it. But here's MY Emily with yummy macarons!
black ~ licorice? orange was pumpkin deliciousness, brown was chocolate hazelnut, purple was some kind of fruit jam, I think pink was strawberry and green was the mystery flavor. x_X cerine guessed pistachio, she's probably right! The backdrop is the new teacup fabric I got that is so lovely. Not lovely was the company charging me for 6 yards when I bought 3 through. :P
